Athletes who use BAP build a profile, record their metrics and academics, compare themselves with programs, and reach out to coaches. To make that work, BAP holds some of their information. This policy sets out how we handle it.

BAP only handles information athletes enter themselves. We do not track your browsing or gather data in the background.

• Account — email address and login credentials
• Athlete profile — name (and romanized name), graduation year, position, throwing/batting side, height, weight
• Baseball metrics — throwing/pitching velocity, 60-yard time, exit velocity, season stats, video links
• Academics — GPA, SAT, ACT, TOEFL
• Recruiting preferences — target schools and preferences such as region, size, and cost
• Coach communication — contact records, messages, document checklist, notes
• Usage — minimal data such as AI assistant usage counts. Notification settings are stored on your own device (local storage).

We use what we collect for the following, and nothing else:

• generating your college-fit recommendations (Match Score and fit assessments);
• organizing your recruiting (target schools, coach contact, documents, schedule);
• authenticating your account, resetting passwords, and sending important notices; and
• diagnosing issues and improving the product.

BAP's AI Recruiting Assistant responds based on the data you enter. To generate a response, relevant input is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI). Please do not enter passwords or other sensitive identifying information.

AI responses and Match Scores are suggestions, not decisions. Verify anything important with the college's official information and with the coach directly.

Your profile is private by default. You decide whether to share it.

• Coaches and colleges can see your information only through a recruiting link you create and share yourself.
• A share link can be turned off at any time, and access stops immediately.
• The card you send to a coach or college does not include your target-school list or other schools.

Data is stored in Supabase and protected with row-level security, so that as a rule only you can access your own data. We do not hold your password; it is managed securely by the authentication layer. No transmission or storage over the internet is ever perfectly secure — we apply reasonable protections, but cannot promise zero risk.

BAP is supported by the services below. Each receives only what its function needs. BAP does not sell athlete data.

• Supabase — data storage and authentication
• OpenAI — generating AI assistant responses
• Google — sign-in if you choose Google login
• Resend — sending confirmation and password-reset emails
• Analytics (if used) — understanding usage only, without identifying individuals

These run on servers in the U.S. and elsewhere, so your data may be stored and processed outside Japan.

BAP is built mainly for high-school players, so many users are minors. We treat this part with particular care.

• Anyone under 13 may not use BAP.
• Minors should use BAP with a parent's or guardian's consent.
• Parents and guardians can review, correct, or delete their child's data at any time via support@ballersacrosspacific.com.
• An athlete's information is never shown to a coach or college unless the athlete shares it.

You can delete your account at any time — from the app's settings, or by emailing support@ballersacrosspacific.com. When you do, we erase your related data (profile, metrics, coach communication, shared profiles) within a reasonable period, except where the law requires us to keep it.
